To go to France by bus or coach National Express provide links from the principal towns in UK to the main transport hubs in France.
Bus Services in France
It would seem high speed trains are currently in vogue among the transport planning departments of France or at least are the preferred method of transport. Buses do exist but as yet I have not found any national lines.
